Construction Site Superintendent JOB DESCRIPTION: Superintendents coordinate and supervise all on-site activities, while working with project team including Project Managers, Project Engineers, Foreman, Subcontract Personnel and other office departments, to deliver successful projects to the Client, on time and on budget to the professional standard of quality. This in an in-person position, the chosen candidate must be a resident of Las Vegas, NV. Superintendent duties include, but are not limited to--- 1. Work with the project teams to budget, forecast, and manage field personnel as well as management of labor, equipment, materials, tools, and other cost considerations. 2. Prepare work plans and develop temporary facilities for the project. 3. Review construction documents for completeness and constructability. 4. Generate RFI's (Requests for Information) as required to ensure completeness of the project documents and identifying and clarifying any discrepancies. 5. Review submittals for compliance with project manual and plans, manufacturer's recommendations and codes, or other standards applicable to the system. 6. Ensure all required materials, equipment, and inspections occur to support the project schedule. 7. Management and supervision of work crews on-site including--- a. Agree timelines and ensure approved subcontractors are in place to complete their appointed tasks /activities and are presence on those dates. b. Ensure dates are fixed to confirm that any successors from their task is followed. c. Ensure production is constant to meet schedules and timeline d. Provide 3 week look ahead schedule of all trades and activities to ensure construction build program is being met and arrange for all testing and other compliance activities to be met. e. Mentor and train field personnel when required. f. Manage foreman and their duties and ensure all have resources and information to perform their tasks effectively and efficiently. g. Manage the overall safety of the project and ensure all personnel have resources to perform their work safely. h. Provide supervision of all work to complete the tasks/activities, including any extra time outside of the normal working hours. i. Work with the project team to maintain relationships with owners, visitors, subcontractors and suppliers. j. Assist with business development, bidding, proposals and obtaining new work. k.
